KFF Pop-Up Vendor Spotlight: L.A.S.
LA's first Fashion Mamas x Kids Fashion Fair pop-up shop officially opens at Platform Culver City on December 1st! To celebrate, over the next few days we're shining a light on the amazing brands that you'll be able to shop at our five-day concept space.
L.A.S. creates gorgeous, heirloom-quality jewelry and silk-screened pieces that are as special as the one-of-a-kind items you'd find at your favorite vintage store. Every piece is handmade in both Los Angeles and Toledo, and the brand recently started producing styles for kids. We're proud to offer a selection of limited-edition L.A.S. tees and denim at our KFF pop-up counter near checkout! Here, owner and designer Lisa Soltis tells us about her rad brand.
What inspired you to launch your brand and what were you doing before it?
My husband and I, both artists, wanted to collaborate on a project, and I was beginning my career in the fashion industry in LA. The city as a whole combined with our individual skill sets set us in motion.
Capture the essence of your brand in one sentence:
A full circle collaboration of the 2-d and 3-d art worlds relayed in jewels and hand screened apparel for both ladies and gents.
What is your favorite piece in your collection right now?
Who is your dream client?
Probably Steven Tyler or Conan.
If your brand was a song, what song would it be?
"Going to California" by Led Zeppelin
