Inside Our First-Ever Cool Fam Fest!

On Sunday, Fashion Mamas hosted its first-ever #CoolFamFest at FM-favorite Lombardi House in Hollywood. This idea was born from a simple desire: to create a space that both adults and kids can equally enjoy, a space that transports our members back to the sunny, blue-sky days of our youth so that we can share it with our little ones.
We couldn’t create a dreamy experience like this alone, so we tapped all of our favorite vendors, partners, and DJs to bring it to life. We invited all of Los Angeles to experience our debut fest, and it sold out! In case you missed it, here is what the 200+ festival-goers were able to do at our first-ever Cool Fam Fest:
SHOPPING
Mama-owned vendors took over the picturesque lawn at Lombardi House. If you saw a white tent, that meant there were goodies underneath! For fashionable clothes to dress your little one, we did not lack in variety. Feeling vintage? Head to Lifetime of Leisure. Wanted something bold and positive? Happy Heart Crew has got you covered. Wren Amber outfitted your little one in adorable cottage core chic. Lady Dandelion was there for the feminine tomboys guaranteed to look cute on a board. Lil in Los Angeles brought the hippest streetwear collection for kids. Little Gems made sure your little one was shining their brightest in jewelry they can get excited about. Now for the mamas: Born To Roam was there when you were ready to buy a bold statement piece and VidaKush so you could accessorize with belly chains, rings, or create your own eclectic match-up . Lastly, Fashion Mamas was selling our newest collection at 30% off for FM-members, with other brands participating in members-only discounts as well!
MUSIC
It wouldn’t be a festival without music! We were lucky to kick off the fest with a live performance by budding artist Zooey Miyoshi. The young rising star serenaded us with acoustic jams from our youth. Then, we had back-to-back DJ sets that each represented a decade of our lives: Daisy O’Dell played the best hits of the ‘80s. DJ Bella Ferrada brought us back to the ‘90s. Ms. Nix covered the early 2000s and special TikTok favorite DJ Hunny Bee closed out the fest with modern bangers. Adults and kids alike hit the dance floor (some in their roller skates. as it doubled as a roller rink!)
ACTIVITIES
Adults and kids alike hit the dance floor (some in their roller skates. as it doubled as a rollerskating rink!) They shared the Barn with Kavie Rose Tooth Gems who was there blinging out teeth, and The Nanny League supervised a child’s crafting station.
FOOD
After all the fun shopping and dancing in Lombardi's beautifully-kept garden and barn, it was a comfort to see Sandra’s Tacos selling her homemade tacos, burritos, and quesadillas (with all the fixings!) right there in The Courtyard. True festival vibes. Attendees washed it down with complimentary St. Hildie’s botanical spiked seltzers and Boxed Water. Our friends at All American Softy rolled up in their iconic ice cream truck to dish out soft-serve, floats, and sno cones — enough to keep the whole family happy! The Jolly Sheep made cloud-themed cotton candy just for us, and we couldn't be more thankful that they shared our vision.
Also assisting with the vision was Elevated Room Events, responsible for creating our blissful clouds-in-the-sky balloons backdrop that attendees posed in front of upon arrival, and Geometry who provided the cutest cloud-themed blankets for families to relax on. A big thank-you to iO productions for assisting with tech and sound.
Thank you to all the families who came out, and to all festival-goers for being willing to forget their worries and indulge their inner child for a fun afternoon! It was a magical time, and we can’t wait to see you again!
