What do you do and what led you to this career?
I am the Fashion Director at Dailylook! With over 20 years of experience as a model and actress, I found myself looking for more and started my own styling company, Veronica Black Stylist. From there I built a book of commercial print, ecomm, look books, etc. and this led me to interviewing at Dailylook. I act as the Fashion Director and public face of the company. This means I create and collaborate for all original content as well as do our live news segments on TV!
What is the name and age of your child?
Baby Black is due in late august 2019!
What has been your biggest career achievement thus far?
Becoming Dailylook's Fashion Director! This job uses all of my skill sets and it's role that fits me perfectly. I especially enjoy the creative direction aspect of this job which is what I always wanted to do and finally feel like I have the freedom to do at this company..
What is the most rewarding aspect of being a mother?
I can't wait to find out!
And what is the most challenging?
I'm sure it's going to be going back to work full time.

What is your best advice for a new mother?
The first trimester is a killer... Take your time and realize you're growing an entirely new organ that does the work of four organs. This is the time to give yourself a break!
What's next for you? Do you have any exciting projects coming up?
My due date! I'm looking forward to meeting my little dude and getting some bonding time with him and my husband as a new family of three (plus two fur babies).
