Natalie Alcala is a proud Mexican and Spanish woman, and a passionate connector. Following a whirlwind career as a freelance fashion writer featured in noteworthy publications including Vogue, Elle, Refinery29, Who What Wear, The Zoe Report, Los Angeles Magazine, LALA Magazine, BlackBook, and Bullett, Natalie became senior editor of Racked LA — a position she held for four years. It was there that she found her passion in community-building, curating some of the publication’s most successful IRL events.
Midway through her journalism journey, the game completely changed when she married and became pregnant. When her son was just three months old, in 2014 she launched Fashion Mamas to both celebrate and support working mothers in her industry. Word spread quickly, and the rest is history.
Natalie resides in Los Angeles with her husband and their two babes, Diego and Rio.
