Get to Know the Vendors of This Weekend's Kids Fashion Fair at Americana at Brand

This Saturday, November 23 from 11am to 5pm, our next Kids Fashion Fair is taking over the former Barneys New York space at Americana at Brand for an afternoon of holiday-ready shopping and more festivities. In addition to a fashion show starting at 1pm starring LA members’ adorable tots, the festive market will include a live beats by DJ Lindsay Luv, a crafting table by Art Camp, bites by Shake Shack and Ladurée, a hot cocoa station, and a Samsung photo booth. All attendees are also encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy for Baby2baby — just look for the donation box at the Fashion Mamas booth.

What is your brand’s mission statement?
Bāeo is a plant-based skincare line created to clean, moisturize and protect the most sensitive skin. Our goal is to meet the needs of your family at every stage using only the highest quality of pure and simple botanical elements sourced from nature. We are mama owned, ethically sourced and environmentally friendly.
What are some of your brand’s bestsellers and/or your personal favorite items?
Bāeo’s bestsellers are the bare butter and bare face. Sarah’s personal favorite is the Bare Butter — a moisturizing body butter for the whole family. The Bare Butter is Sarah’s favorite moisturizer for her face and neck. Anna’s favorite product is the Bare Booty, which is great as a moisturizer for sensitive skin. Anna specifically loves to use the bare booty on her face after a facial.
What is one product that you’re excited to sell at Kids Fashion Fair this weekend?
We’re excited to sell our Bare Face at the Kids Fashion Fair this weekend. Our soothing face balm is a great, versatile gift for the whole family. Bare Face is perfect for after sun, dry weather, drool rash for babies, and around the eyes for mama. Mamas even love to use it as an under eye makeup primer.
The best holiday gift you’ve ever received?
The best holiday gift Sarah has received was discovering she was pregnant with her son. Anna loves receiving a massage certificate for the holidays.

What is your brand's mission statement?
There’s love, and then there’s mother love. The kind that will wipe our toddler’s nose with our very own shirt if there’s no tissue in sight. Gross, but it happens. Beyond that dedication, mother love is also the love that cares about what kind of world we’re passing on to our children. That’s why we believe in using only sustainable practices. Each piece is produced in Los Angeles with locally sourced cotton and dead-stock fabrics that might otherwise be destined for the landfill. With Chaboukie, it’s all about mother love. It is a love that’s bigger than just us — it’s love for the earth and for future generations.
What are some of your brand's bestsellers and/or your personal favorite items?
People have always liked our basics, like pants, shorts and tees because we always choose the softest fabrics possible. My personal favorite is the Milo Shorts because they are very simple, comfortable and easy to wear.
What is one product that you're excited to sell at Kids Fashion Fair this weekend?
My new capsule collection with Baby Boy Bakery which includes some awesome gender-neutral pieces plus an adorable dress.
The best holiday gift you've ever received?
My mom once wrote a big check towards my student loan debt. That was extra nice.

What is your brand's mission statement?
Creating joy and magic for kids and their grown-ups.
What are some of your brand's bestsellers and/or your personal favorite items?
Our best sellers are Kali the Kitty in all areas: Zip-up, pullover, t-shirt, down vest, and down jacket; also our Spider-Man zip up is a big hit. My personal favorite is Pimm the Pup. Each of our signature characters has a unique personality and special strength and Pimm's is curiosity, encouraging kids to be excited about exploring the world around them.
What is one product that you're excited to sell at Kids Fashion Fair this weekend?
Our down jackets and down vests as well our new Disney's Frozen 2 zip-ups. Elsa, Anna, and Olaf are joining the Cubcoats pack!
The best holiday gift you've ever received?
I'm from Utah, so the best gift ever was when Santa brought me a new snowboard. I was filled with joy and I hope Cubcoats can do the same this holiday season for kids and their families alike.

What is your brand’s mission statement?
Our clothes are designed in Malibu and handmade with love in DTLA. We’re driven by a balance of conscious consumption and sustainable living. Our notions are craftsman high quality materials, and fabrics are designer sell off's to lighten our global footprint. We use all natural fibers and organic when possible.
What are some of your brand’s bestsellers and/or your personal favorite items?
Our boys cotton tees and cotton gauze baby kimono onesies. We can’t keep these in stock!
What is one product that you’re excited to sell at Kids Fashion Fair this weekend?
Our Liberty print peasant dresses are irresistible!

What is your brand’s mission statement?
Honey My Heart is about love and personal style. We create jewelry to go through life with and honor you. Our pieces are minimalist in design mixed with light flair, bringing beauty to your everyday.
What are some of your brand’s bestsellers and your personal favorites?
Stacking rings of all kinds are our bestsellers. Whether the rings are smooth, hammered, or a twist textured, a simple line or arc-shaped, gold or silver, the rings prove to be favorites among everyone because of their versatility and the ability for each stack to be uniquely styled by the woman wearing them.
Our Mini Heart necklaces (that come with 1, 2, or 3 hearts) are a personal favorite of mine. They are a classic honey my heart design, each heart individually formed, and a stellar piece to layer with other necklaces.
What is one product that you’re excited to sell at Kids Fashion Fair this weekend?
I have recently begun engraving charms and will have a couple of sets of Mama and Babe nameplate necklaces, to be worn layered by mama or shared by both mama and babe. There will also be some engraved pieces that celebrate the female form.
The best holiday gift you’ve ever received:
I love the feeling of celebration and love on Christmas morning. I can’t remember a specific gift right now, but I know the feeling of being surrounded by love is something I will always cherish and something that will always be a best memory.
Ice Cream Castles

What is your brand's mission statement?
Ice Cream Castles came to life through the mystical voyages of a band of traveling children. Young girls and boys leaving footprints on untouched beaches in distant lands, discovering life, music and love with each journey. Each passage brought tokens and reminders of their cherished adventure. Salt and sun soaked clothing, photos and records of foreign melodies resting in a trunk waiting to be discovered. The children have grown but their collection remains in tact, tucked away in a treasure chest in their Ice Cream Castle, waiting for the next child to bring them back to life…
What are some of your brand's bestsellers and/or your personal favorite items?
Our bestsellers are usually our graphic band tees and the animal prints. I personally love the band tees as well as the collections are story based and revolve around a new magical adventure that these children go on. There is always a concert in these mystical places so the band tee is unique and really special.
What is one product that you're excited to sell at Kids Fashion Fair this weekend?
We are so excited to be selling our printed sweat suits this weekend. They come in several different prints and colors and are really the perfect whimsical holiday gift.
The best holiday gift you've ever received?
The best holiday gift I ever received was a trip to Hawaii with my kids. I love any time we can all be together and tune out the outside world for a bit. It was magical.

What is one product that you’re excited to sell at Kids Fashion Fair this weekend?
We're excited about debuting this weekend. We'll have unreleased exclusives celebrating our upcoming new brick and mortar in L.A. Our grand opening this holiday season in Cali will be one for the books!

What is your brand's mission statement?
We are a mama/female-founded and run company that manufactures in DTLA and gives back to Alliance of Moms: a charity that provides for young LA moms coming out of foster care.
What are some of your brand's bestsellers?
We created poolside cover-ups for mamas and daughters. For the little ones, our gathered tunics are bestsellers because they are fantastic swimsuit cover-ups that double as cute dresses.
What is one product that you're excited to sell at Kids Fashion Fair this weekend?
We are so excited to sell our pink fern print gathered tunics that our Californian girls love!
The best holiday gift you've ever received?
My mom made a photo book of my son’s first Christmas. It’s so special because she wrote about all the memories we made that year, and now our family enjoys the tradition of reading that together every holiday season.

What is your brand's mission statement?
Beauty simply. To maximize the quality and minimize the quantity of things you have the use on your skin. All of our products are multi-purpose and unisex.
What are some of your brand's bestsellers?
We only have two products: The Balm and The Mist. Everyone loves both!
What is one product that you're excited to sell at Kids Fashion Fair this weekend?
I think the Balm is really accessible and everyone loves it. Especially people with kids! It’s great for diaper rash, or any kind of skin irritation. Excited to share it with new customers!
The best holiday gift you've ever received?
My husband did a pretty good job on baby's first Christmas. I think you could call it a push present too. There were sapphires (my daughter’s birthstone) involved!

What’s your brand’s mission statement?
YAY FOR YOU is a clothing line that gives parents a playful option outside of the normal clothing scene for babies. The label/name itself is a reminder to the parent that their everyday efforts are appreciated, and also a reminder to say “Yay For You” to your baby, as a positive affirmation.
The silhouettes are simple, and the fabrics are special. Each fabric is either vintage or deadstock, meaning they are made in limited quantities, so that keeps the brand ever-changing.
What are your personal favorite items from your brand?
My personal favorite so far is The Andy in Rainbow. The body is named after my partner and the fabric is the first fabric I found for the brand, and it’s still my favorite. I personally am not a colorful dresser, so this version of a “rainbow” is a nice combination of colors.
What is one product that you’re excited to sell at Kids Fashion Fair this weekend? I am excited because all onesies will be customizable. But, I am excited to show the bucket hat! It comes in both baby and adult size, so you can match your little one!
The best holiday gift you’ve ever received: The best holiday gift I have ever received is a trip to New York with my best friend! It was totally unexpected, and very out of the normal type of gifts I had ever received. Needless to say, it was so exciting to travel with a friend to a place I had never been. New York is a special place, and it was a very cool way to experience it for the first time.
